Care must be taken when installing this accessory to ensure the damage does not occur on the vehicle. This accessory installation should follow accepted guidelines to ensure a quality installation. These instructions can be found in the "Accessory installation Practices" document. This document covers such as:-— the vehicle protection (use of covers and blankets, cleaning, chemical products, etc.). -Safety (safety glasses, rechecking the torque procedure, etc.). — Vehicle/base maintenance (delete the Panel, part of the storage, etc.). — Electrical component/base maintenance (battery disconnection, removal of the connector, etc.). View Toyota dealer, a copy of the file. 1. remove the running Board packaging. (b) remove the running Board of the package and a clean protected surface. The disks are double sided (Figure 1-1) (b) to verify the package contents for damage and check the running Board. 2. preparing to install the running Board (LH/RH side). (a) review the hardware bag contents by referring to the instructions for use of this cover sheet. (b) to loosen the 1/4-20 flange nuts each, three (3) places each bracket on the running Board. (Figure 2-1) in the case of (c) with a small screwdriver, remove the plastic connectors career M8 weld nuts on the side of the body covering the vehicle/6 points.
