In 2001, the new coupe RSX Acura line was presented as a re-badged. It was to replace the outgoing Integra. RSX is a rebadged Honda Integra (DC5) out of the Japanese market. RSX is technically a new generation of outbound Integra. Much as the Integra, the RSX was a hit with the tuner market. Another refreshed Acura MDX in the beginning of the 21st century was a popular three-row crossover SUV based on the Honda Odyssey minivan.
The MDX to replace the slow-selling SLX, which was little more than a rebadged Isuzu Trooper. The MDX has a car-like crossover SUV limited off-road capability, which covers the luxury SUV market. It was given its first high chair car and driver comparison test against seven SUVs.
