Mercedes G Class 2012: restyling the Carrara 4x4 Fest

The comfort has not been underestimated, as for example the automatic parking system, Parktronic. The new class G adopts the modern infotainment system COMAND Online. Daytime running lights and LED rear-view mirrors, both of new conception, underline the external look. Among the main novelties of the range, however, include the unpublished G63 G65 AMG and AMG, which will be discussed a little better in the paragraph below.

Mechanical innovations

For a start there are two high performance versions: the Mercedes AMG G63, equipped with a generous 5.4 liter V8 biturbo that 544 BHP and 760 Nm maximum Cup, and the AMG G65with a monstrous 12-cylinder 6.0 l V, also equipped with dual superchargers and capable of developing a maximum output of 612 horsepower. Going down slightly, the range relies on the G500, with 388 horsepower and 530 Nm provided by a 5,400 cc eight cylinder V. Excluding these more suitable for versions of the portfolios chock-full ragavan, for a market like ours in full crisis there is the most parca Mercedes G350 BlueTec, which mounts a 3.0 litre V6 turbodiesel with 211 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque, credited to an average consumption of 8.9 km/l.

The power is discharged through a good 4WD with differential lock, while transmission can count on recent Mercedes automatic transmission 7 g-Tronic. Sales are matches since last month ofJune: the price ranges between EUR 93,301 G350 BlueTEC diesel's and 269,880 euros of insane G65 AMG.
